www.propertymahal.com is an online private house selling website purely dedicated
to selling Indian property. We cover all areas of the India selling residential
and commercial property.
How long have you been selling property online?
The company was started in 1995, and we have been selling property since then.
We also advertise in the local press and national newspapers, but concentrate
mainly online.

Are you an Estate Agent?
No, we are not an estate agent, we are a property selling website that simply
allows you to pay a fixed fee that enables you to advertise your property for
sale privately on our website.
If I am selling with an Estate Agent can I still sell with you?
Multiple Agency (YES)
In this case, you may appoint as many Agents as you like to sell your property,
the agent who does sell your property is then paid his commission, you may find
that with this type of agreement the commission is slightly higher.
Sole Agency (YES)
If you are already using an Estate Agent to sell your property then the appointed
agent is the only agent who can sell your property, however, as you are not
an Estate Agent yourself, if you do find a buyer yourself through private advertising
then you do not have to pay the Estate Agent commission. We do recommend that
as a matter of courtesy that you do inform your Estate Agent you are also advertising
your property privately.
Sole Selling Rights (YES but please read)
In this case, the Estate Agent is the only person with the right to sell your
property, if you do sell your house privately then you are still bound to pay
the Agent their commission. We still think that this is worth advertising due
to our low selling fee, you are really then promoting your property all over
the India, it is worth giving your agent a ring to discuss this matter, as you
may well be able to obtain a sizeable discount.

You can search for properties by area, county, number of bedrooms, minimum and

How do I see the full page advert of a property
You can either click on "view details" or click on the summary of the property.
Can I make the photos bigger?
You cannot make the main picture larger but by clicking on the thumbnail images
you can.
How can I contact the seller/vendor?
On the property advert you are viewing you have a property summary or property
ID by clicking either of them you can view email and contact number of the seller
direct.

You can create your own portfolio in minutes with your email
address and password, you can then save properties that you
are interested in or set up.

Why do I need to log in?
You need to log in so we have your email address and password saved on our database,
this way every time that you revisit the site we can remember you and all your
entered information.

Can I write my description on my computer and then copy and paste it?
Yes, this is a good way of typing your advert.
I have paid for advertising my 25 properties to PropertyMahal.com. I have added 10 property advertisements out of 25. Can I add my remaining 15 property advertisements after some time?
Yes, we give a time period of 6 months to add your property advertisements after starting of your first advertisement on PrpertyMahal.com. So you can add your remaining 15 property advertisements any time in these 6 months. Each of these properties wil displayed of full 1 year.
My Property is sold out. Can I remove my property advertisement now?
Yes. After your property is sold out or given on rent out, you can send us an email request to remove your property advertisement to this address: info@propertymahal.com. How much text can I write for my description?
You can write property details upto 200 words and property summary upto 30 words.
What is the best way to write my advert?
Here are a few tips when writing your advert.
- Do not write your advert all in capitals, it makes it hard to read.
- Use blank lines to make paragraphs.
- Enter room dimensions.
- Enter as much information as you can.
- Don't include contact details or any web link in this area of text.

This will be because the advert is still waiting to be approved by a member
of staff, please check again after 1 or 2 days.

Adding photographs
My property image is too heavy (large size image) so it is not loading properly. Can you help me?
You can download Property Mahal image resizer software. This software will help you to reduce/enlarge your property image size. To download Property Mahal image resizer click here 
What is the best way to take my photos?
To get the best quality photos you need to take your pictures with a digital
camera.
When do I add my photos to my advert?
You can add your photos after you have entered all your details of the property,
if you do not have any photos you can still put your advert live and add them
later.
It keeps saying that the image needs to be in jpg or gif format
The operating system requires that all images that need to be uploaded need
to be in jpg or gif format of 150 kb max.
How do I get my photos to be in jpg. or gif format?
Find the photo for your advert on your computer, right click on the image with
your mouse, you can then select "save", from here you can usually select what
format you wish to save your image as, save image as jpg or
gif.
Do they need to be a certain size?
Yes, the width and height should not greater than 400 pixels.
I have photographs of my property. But I do not know how to upload it on my property advertisement page. Can you help me to do this task?
Yes, you can post your property photograph to our address, we will scan and upload it for you.
Can I change the photos later?
Yes, you can edit them at anytime.
Why does my photo not look very clear?
This can only be down to the quality of photo that you uploaded, photos can
sometimes look grainy if they have been scanned or the digital camera needed
more light.
Can I send the photos to you?
Yes, you can email the photos to us and we will do it all

Will the camera be complicated to use?
No, the camera will be preset by us so that all you need to do is push the button

Will my email address be shown on the website
Yes your email address will also included in your advert.
I have received an email but it says nothing.
This will happen if somebody has started so write an email and submitted it
without filling all the fields out.
How often should I check my email box?
It is best to check your emails everyday while your advert is running, sometimes
people are in your area and wanting to view within the next 2 or 3 days so you
don't want to lose out on a possible sale.
